Our vineyards are situated in a wide variety of locations from 200 metres above sea level to 580 metres above sea level around Lake Kaltern.

This means that every grape variety grows under the best climatic and geological conditions. Sandy alluvial soils from the pre-glacial period and loamy moraine soils with a high proportion of stone from the Mendelkamm ridge allow our grape varieties such as Pinot Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon, Souvigner gris, Pinot Gris, Müller-Thurgau, Vernatsch, Merlot, Lagrein, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet franc to ripen perfectly.
